“A year from now you may wish you had started today.”
– Karen Lamb
In a few more days, the first half of 2018 will come to an end. As I write the sixty-sixth post of the one hundred day project, I am thrilled to have kept to this self-imposed project of mine thus far. I remember thinking before how impossibly difficult it would be to keep a daily blog on top of all other daily obligations. But as I learnt, when one is committed, one can make it happen.
This wee experiment of mine has given me huge positive feedback. That I am capable of doing something consistently when I put my mind into it. There are systems that I can put in place to help facilitate my goals. And the most important thing to do is really just to start. Now.
“Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years.”
– Bill Gates
This quote from Bill Gates is telling. I have experienced this first hand where I delayed doing something while waiting for the perfect condition before starting (ie. starting this blog). Alas, conditions will never be ripe to do the thing you want to do.
Ready. Fire. Aim. Start now.
