Some days can be harder than others. It could be due to something that happen during the day. Or it could be a series of tough days, culminating to this one day where it just hits you and you’re ready to surrender. You’re tired, it’s getting late, there’s always tomorrow. You’re just not feeling it. But I can tell you this, it’s one slippery slope when you let it slide once. I’ve been there.
Today was one such day. After a long day at the office, on a Friday no less (mental note to self, this cannot the long term setup), I felt tired and ready to just lay on the couch and watch some TV. I’ve been working hard this whole week, I deserve this right? And it was a late night yesterday too, helping a friend out. It is so tempting to just take it easy.
What did I do though? I did my work out anyway. I am writing this blog post now as part of my commitment to 100 days of blog posts. And after that, I can sleep well knowing that I’ve given my best for today. To end, here’s Jocko again to help provide a boost when you need it.
